Original Waite Smith Tarot
Original version of the Waite-Smith tarot deck created by A. E. Waite and illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith. This deck is commonly referred as the Waite-Rider Tarot, the Waite-Smith-Rider Tarot or simply the "Pam-A" deck. Its symbolism is mostly taken from the teachings of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn that both Waite and Colman Smith were part of. The deck was produced by Rider in 1909. Since its release this deck became the most popular type of divination tarot and inspired countless variations.
